Meet the team of Realtors and professionals that make up the United Group. Each member of the group has been selected carefully, from the thousands of Realtors in the Vegas Valley, because they possess a certain quality or set of qualities that separates from other real estate agents.

 

All of the Realtors are full fledged sales agents who list homes and locate homes for buyers. For the United Group, they will help you locate the home you wish to purchase and help you put that property into contract. From there your file will be handled by a Transaction Coordinator, someone specially trained to ensure your escrow reaches closing as smoothly as possible. By utilizing Buyer's Agents, you can view properties according to your schedule, not ours.

 

Our organization allows us to have a full time Listings Manager on staff. The Listings Manager does weekly readings of the lockbox, ensures the flyer box is full, meets contractors and inspectors at the home as needed, and handles any of the other routine tasks associated with a listing. This very special feature is a great asset to the Seller, as they can be assured thier listing is constantly being tended to.

 

We also have a cadre of Language Qualified Realtors who are fluent in languages including Spanish, French, Arabic, Vietnamese, and Tagalog. These agents can sell your home or help you locate a new one. For non-English speaking clients, it is very important that they have a Realtor fluent in both languages, as all forms and contracts are in English. The United Group is very happy to provide our clientele with Language Qualified agents who work for such an elite company as Realty Executives.

 

The United Group is unique in that the team is not just Realtors and administrators. A large number of our clients are investors, many of them new to real estate investment. Therefore, we also have a Property Manager, CPA, financial Planner, and Estate Attorney to help our investors prepare for the future, minimize the amount they owe the Federal Government, and maximize the return on their investment.

Sean Brown

Team Leader / Investor Specialist

Heading up the group is Sean Brown, graduate of the Ohio State University. A former United Airlines Captain and Air Force pilot, Sean is an active real estate investor. Sean is involved with every investor that comes to the group. He aggressively seeks out the properties and helps crunch the numbers to determine the viability of a project. Not one to mince words, Sean will not recommend a project that he himself would not invest in. His philosophy is there are plenty of investment properties out there, so he would rather pass on a weak deal to keep his clients happy. In his first year as a licensed agent, Sean was Rookie of the Year in a brokerage of 400 agents. He was Top Agent in Closed Transactions for 2003 for his office and is a member of the 2004 Coldwell Banker President's Club. On the rare occasion that he has some spare time, Sean enjoys writing music and creating websites.

Jeff Klein

Realtor / NARREIA Developer

Jeff is a professional, full-time Realtor and an active real estate investor. He is also the lead developer of the national website NARREIA.com, the National Association of Residential Real Estate Investment Advisors. For five years before he became a Realtor, Jeff owned a web design and marketing company in Las Vegas. He gained valuable marketing experience during this time which led him directly into the NARREIA project. He is a world-traveler (living in India for 9 months) and currently resides in both Las Vegas and Phoenix. Jeff is originally from Madison, WI, and graduated college from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities.

 

 

 

   

Richard Lasica

Realtor

Richard's strong business presence gives him an edge during the negotiation phase. His financial background has encouraged him to focus on the challenges of creative financing. He has investigated many different avenues for the financially challenged which is why many first time buyers seek him out. Sandra Kuzik

Realtor

Sandy has taken the local real estate market by storm. Her second month in the business, she closed over a million dollars, which is almost unheard of. She was a member of the 2004 Coldwell Banker President's club, which is the distinguished group of top producing agents from the entire country. Teaming up with Sergio Montegrande, Sandy generated more business in her first year than most agents do once they are fully established. She has been a life long resident of Las Vegas/Henderson and has watched the city grow, making her very familiar with the different parts of town. Sandy is a real hands-on Realtor who is very meticulous and detailed oriented.

 

 

 

 

Scott Meservey

Realtor

Growing up in a military family, Scott lived all over the US and attended high school in Italy. A graduate of New Mexico State University, he worked eleven years for his father’s construction company. This gives Scott a very good insight into the housing industry. He then spent three and a half years as an online trader, enduring the ups and downs of that business. He then started a successful landscaping business, but gave it up when he followed the footsteps of many of his family members to pursue his real estate career full time. Scott has found that his background of diverse cultures, running businesses and financial investment has been very good training for property analysis and customer relations. Scott is one of the United Group’s investment property specialists.

 

 

 

 

Sergio Montegrande

Realtor

Talk about language skills! Sergio is fluent in Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and we think, English. Originally from Italy, Sergio spent some time working in Amsterdam where he picked up his Dutch. Upon coming to America, Sergio married a US citizen who originally hailed from Mexico, so he picked up his Spanish. An incredibly charismatic, dynamic agent, Sergio is well on his way to becoming a top producing agent. Sergio frequenly teams up with Sandy Kuzik.

 

 

 

 

Tanner Steinborn

Realtor

Tanner is a very sharp, agressive agent who is looking nationally for real estate investments. Contantly trying to figure out how he can improve the current system, he is a very determined Realtor. Tanner is teamed up with his wife, Aleks.

 

Aleks Nowak

Realtor

Aleks is one of the newest members of the United Group. Fluent in Polish, Aleks brings a level of professionalism to a very underserved market in Las Vegas. Aleks is extremely concientious and has adopted an excellent support system that helps ensure her transactions will be completed. Aleks is teamed up with her husband, Tanner.

 

 

 

Jeromith Sutton

Realtor

Jeromith is an innnovator and a true team player. His philosophy is to never give up and that one creates their own destiny. A native of Irvine, California, Jeromith attended San Diego State University working on a Psychology and Biology double major. He then spent year at the University of Alaska where he studied Cultural Anthropology. During his schooling he worked in the medical field in preparation for his planned medical career as a doctor. He moved out to Las Vegas, accompanied by his wife Olivia, in order to be closer to family and friends. Living in Las Vegas since 1998, Jeromith knows the valley well. Jeromith is concentrating on the investment property niche and is teaming up with Alice Threet of Realty Executives on some commercial projects. His passion for the job is compelling and contagious, and his only desire is to help you find what you are looking for.

 

 

 

Olivia Sutton

Realtor

Jeromith and Olivia Sutton are a husband and wife team. Originally from southern California, they attended college in Alaska. Having family in Las Vegas, they have been in Las Vegas for over five years. With background in the entertainment and service industry, Olivia has worked primarily with high end clients. Olivia has concentrated her efforts on finding the clients, while Jeromith spends his time in the field locating property for those clients.

 

 

 

 

 

SUPPORT STAFF

 

The average agent can handle about five transactions a month without any help, and that would be a more than full time job. Agents who do more activity than that need assistance. The first step is having one assistant that becomes basically a jack-of-all-trades. As business increases, even the assistants become more specialized.

 

If you're not familiar with the details of how real estate is bought and sold, you might not understand the importance of the Transaction Coordinator. Buyers think the Realtor's job is locating their ideal property, and while that is a very important task, the most time consuming part of our job is ensuring the transaction actually closes. You would be surprised at how many houses that are put under contract fail to close. Many times these transactions could have been saved if the issue was discovered early enough and handled appropriately.

 

A Transaction Coordinator's job is to work closely with the Escrow Officer and the Loan Officer to ensure all conditions of the contract and financing are fulfilled. Once the escrow is opened, you and the Transaction Coordinator will be in frequent contact with the client obtaining signatures on required documents, getting information to the lender, and keeping the transaction on track.

 

A Listings Manager has two main tasks. Once a listing agreement is signed, the Listings Manager visits the property to take photos for the MLS and other marketing material. He also measures the rooms and details many of he special features of the property so as to focus the marketing on the highlights. They also tend to the weekly maintenance on the listing, ensuring the flyer box is full, reading the lockbox to learn who has visited the property, and following up on any inspections or repairs that need to be made.

 

Once a team becomes reasonably large, marketing the properties becomes a 40 hour a week job. This is when a team employs a Marketing Manager. Tasks for this person include coordinating the various print, internet, and television ads, creating the flyers, and sending out mailers.

 

Finally, the real estate world is rapidly becoming high tech, and with the advantages of technology come the headaches of keeping those tools up and running. We have a full time IT technician who keeps our systems humming. This allows us to take full advantage of all the technological tools while freeing up our agents to do their job: buy and sell homes.

 

 


   

Sue Rudden

Senior Transaction Coordinator

If Sean Brown is the quarterback for the team, Sue Rudden is the coach. She makes sure the entire operation runs smoothly for everyone. The majority of her time is spent working with Escrow Officers and Loan Officers, but she is also our tiger and keeps our vendors in line. Very few things slip past Sue, and this is why she leads our support team. Sue is a former loan officer herself, and has transaction coordinated hundreds of transactions. Sue originally hails from Washington, D.C.

Cindy Perl

Transaction Coordinator

Cindy comes from a background in real estate. An office administrator for a very large brokerage, we were lucky enough to bring her skills to our team. Cindy is also our go-to person when we need research in a pinch. She keeps our condo, luxury high rise, and new construction databases current. Cindy starts her day early and Sue finishes the day late so we can have extended office hours during the work week. Cindy is originally from Ohio.

 

 

 

Jerry Rudden

Listings Manager

Jerry Rudden is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. A fully licenced real estate agent, Jerry's marketing and computer science background has been a big help in coming up with creative ways to promote our listings. Jerry visits each property every week to keep on top of our listings. He reads the lockbox and calls the agents for feedback. He makes sure the flyer box is full and takes care of any issues that might occur. He also attends all the inspections and repairs that might be needed. Jerry has lived in Las Vegas for many years, but is a huge Washington Redskins fan. Jerry is married to our Senior Transaction Coordinator, Sue Rudden.

John Cooper

IT Technician

The United Group is one of the most technically advanced real estate teams in Las Vegas, and perhaps in the US. Two of our agents (Sean and Jeff Klein) are members of the GLVAR Technology Committee, and both have extensive backgrounds in technology career fields. Because of this, the demand we have for technology is very high, and this puts a great strain on our systems. John Cooper is a former Network Administrator for the Department of Defense at Patrick Air Force Base. John's primary job is to keep our network and computer hardware up and running, but he spends the majority of his time trying to figure out how to accomplish the insanely complicated tasks we charge him with. Having John on staff allows us to push the boundaries of how real estate is done, and this is good for our Buyers and Sellers.

 

 

 

AFFILIATED SERVICES

 

Real estate is a very large and complex industry, and this is especially true when it comes to investing. Investments make up about half of our transactions, so we are very in tune with the nuiances of this niche. Finding a good investment property can be a trick, but it's equally important that the investor get the right loan product and have the most appropriate corporate structure in place.

 

While we firmly believe that real estate investing is a great place to build wealth, we do not think it is the only place to invest. Diversification of one's investment portfolio is the best way to build in a safety factor to your overall investment plan, and that should include stocks, bonds, annuities, and other traditional investments. When an investor is trying to develop the most comprehensive investment program, we like to bring in a financial planner to. This is especially true if the investor is looking to invest in more than two or three properties.

 

Below are some individuals that we have worked closely with for some time. To be clear, we are all independent of each other, and are not financially connected.
